Oude IJsselbrug wordt neon groen, plan nu definitief
BRUG | Oranje mag hij niet meer blijven en niemand wil dat hij blauw wordt. Het Zutphense college heeft besloten dat de Oude IJsselbrug nu de kleur neon groen gaat krijgen.
In juni dit jaar wordt de brug onder handen genomen. Deze krijgt een extra voetpad en een bank over de lengte. De nieuwe kleur heeft een extra functie: “Zo weten schippers dat zij een brug naderen, als er licht schijnt op de brug weerkaatst dit” aldus de woordvoerder van de gemeente Zutphen. “Ook is het een mooie kleur. Zutphen kent veel bomen daarom past groen er goed bij.”
